Associação Brazileira Interdisciplinar de AIDS (ABIA)
ABIA informs public health policy and provides HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment and assistance services. This Portuguese- language site features project descriptions and numerous related links.
A local generic drug company which supplies 40% of the antiretrovirals used in the country's HIV/AIDS treatment program. Its generic zidovine, didanosine, lamivudine, zidovudine+lamivudine, and zalcitabine have been approved in bioequivalence tests. Generic indinavir and nevirapine are in the pipeline.
Grupo Pela Vidda
An umbrella organization comprised of nongovernmental, public and private organizations dedicated to HIV/AIDS support. Provides counseling, advocacy, and outreach services.
