 |  | Insite - Supervised Injection Site Located in Vancouver, British Columbia, Insite is currently the only supervised injection site in North America. It is a research pilot program of Vancouver Coastal Health. Since opening its doors, Insite has been a safe, health-focused place where people can go to inject drugs and connect with health care professionals and addiction services. It is an integral part of Vancouver Coastal Health's continuum of care for people with addiction, mental illness and HIV/AIDS in the Vancouver metropolitan area.The impact of the supervised injection site on prevention, treatment, and crime is under study. |
