		Coalition against Trafficking in Women NGO based at the University of Rhode Island, with partners in various countries. Promotes the right of all women to be free from sexual exploitation, including prostitution, sex tourism, and bride trafficking. 		ECPAT International Thai NGO that works toward the elimination of child prostitution, child pornography, and the trafficking of children for sexual purposes.

		Equality Now International human rights organization dedicated to action for the civil, political, economic, and social rights of girls and women. Campaigns to end female genital mutilation and rape. In English, French, Spanish, and Arabic.

		Family Violence Prevention Fund Initiatives include health, judicial education, child welfare, workplace issues, and battered immigrant women's rights.

		Feminist Internet Gateway on Violence against Women Feminist Majority Foundation's extensive links page including resources relating to research, emotional abuse, rape, shelters, services, stalking, and self-defence.

		Gender and HIV/AIDS A comprehensive web portal on the gender dimensions of the HIV/AIDS epidemic, including violence against women. A collaboration between UNIFEM and UNAIDS.

		Human Rights Watch Women's rights section includes publications on sexual violence, trafficking of women and girls, and rape as a weapon of war. There is a separate section on domestic violence. Section on prisoners includes publications on prison rape.

		End Violence Against Women: Information and Resources In October 2001, Johns Hopkins University's Population Information Program launched this service that includes a listserv with regular updates and moderated discussions.

		National Coalition Against Domestic Violence Builds coalitions, supports community programs, and undertakes public education, and policy and legislative initiatives. Serves as information and referral center for the general public, media, battered women, and member organizations.

		The Sexual Violence Research Initiative A WHO initiative which aims to build an experienced and committed network of researchers, policymakers, service-providers, activists, and donors to ensure that the many aspects of sexual violence are addressed from the perspective of different disciplines and cultures.

		Stop Prisoner Rape Seeks to end sexual violence committed against men, women, and youth in all forms of detention. Includes several publications.

		U.S. Department of Justice, Violence against Women Office Includes best practices for law enforcement, criminal justice practitioners, and victim advocates; state-level grant information; lists of state hotlines, coalitions, and advocacy groups; and federal laws and regulations.

		University of Sussex: Gender Violence in African Schools Initiative A project of the university's institutes of Development Studies and Education. Website includes synopses of research findings and numerous links.

		Women Against Violence Europe (WAVE) European network of NGOs working to combat violence against women and children. Includes publications and database (see "advanced search") searchable by organization or topic, best practice models, newletter (in English and French), and links.

		World Health Organization, Female Genital Mutilation Includes publications in English, French and Arabic.
