Section, based at the San Francisco Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC). He is the Associate Program Director of the UCSF Infectious Disease Fellowship Program and a mentor in the VAMC Continuity Clinic's VALOR Program for third-year medical students. He is also actively involved in the Positive Health Program's ASPIRE program in Cote d'Ivoire, West Africa, where he serves as a mentor to physicians and nurses in HIV patient care; and serves as a clinical preceptor at the ID Clinic at VAMC and at the UCSF 360 Positive Care Practice.
