Dr. Cohen discusses pre-exposure antiretroviral prophylaxis (PrEP) and the San Francisco Department of Public Health?s Demo Project, a study on PrEP implementation among high-risk men who have sex with men (MSM). In her presentation, she reviews efficacy data, lists outstanding research questions related to PrEP, and discusses PrEP implementation studies, as well as how The Demo Project seeks to answer key questions about using PrEP in practice.
