Dr. Gabriel Chamie discusses two cases: an HIV- and schistosoma-infected African woman with fatigue, weight loss, portal hypertension, and sub-acute peritonitis; and a 50-year-old patient with an unusual oral lesion.

Presenter: Gabriel Chamie, MD, MPH

Gabriel Chamie, MD, MPH is an Assistant Professor in the Division of HIV/AIDS at UCSF. His research interests include tuberculosis transmission and case finding in low-resource settings. He also is engaged with a large trial of early antiretroviral therapy and patient retention in Uganda and Kenya.
