Caroline Ryan is the Director of Program Services, Office of the US Global AIDS Coordinator. Dr. Ryan is board certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases, and received her MPH from the University of Washington. Dr. Ryan joined the CDC in 1997, and served as the Associate Director for International Activities in the STD Prevention Division, and later served as Chief of the prevention branch in the Global AIDS Program. Dr. Ryan has designed and implemented HIV and STI prevention programs throughout the world including Mali, Senegal, Morocco, South Africa, Cambodia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Russia, Kazakhstan, the Dominican Republic and Bolivia.
