Panelists in this workshop reported on their global experiences developing, adapting and implementing HIV prevention strategies including voluntary counseling and testing, community mobilization, posttest support services, positive prevention and policy development interventions. They discussed how these HIV prevention interventions that are conducted on an international or multi-country basis require site-specific adaptations in order to (1) respond to sociocultural differences in HIV risk determinants and (2) make interventions more relevant to target populations. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
